Preschool
At Wee Care of North Branford, Inc. preschoolers partake in a program that emphasizes three areas of development: academic, social, and emotional. Our professionally degreed teachers place special emphasis on kindergarten preparedness. The preschool classroom holds a mix of students ages 3-6 allowing the older children to mentor and serve as role models to our younger children. We utilize the talk it out method of discipline and encourage our students to learn from the mistakes they make as they explore and learn about the world around them. Other features of our preschool program include:
Sister school partnership with the Gateway Community College Daycare including visits twice a year
Field trips to the LHHS VoAg Fair, Meig's Point Nature Center, and other local places of interest
Enrichment programs including but not limited to yoga, science labs, music, walking trips to the North Branford Public Library, and zumbatomic
Parent teacher conferences are scheduled each spring but parents are encouraged to stop by at any time
A structured daily schedule allowing ample time for learning and play
